Speaker Series

Join the Sunshine School along with Beth Ferrick and Tom McDonald from Bayer to discuss "Culture as a differentiator." This event will include discussion around evolving organizational culture as a differentiator to drive performance rooted in flexibility and inclusion. There are great ways to leverage the organization in grass roots efforts to maximize engagement and activation. Culture takes time to evolve, and engagement from all levels of the organization can accelerate transformation.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS 

 

Beth Ferrick joined Bayer's North America Consumer Health leadership team in August of 2019 as the Vice President, Human Resources. She is also a member of the global Consumer Health and U.S. Human Resources Leadership Teams. 

Beth joined Bayer in June of 2017 as the Vice President, Human Resources for Bayer's U.S. Corporate Functions. Previously, Beth worked at Honeywell, where she was the Head of HR for the CFO and the global Finance organization as well as the Head of HR for the CIO and the global IT organization. While at Honeywell, Beth was instrumental in leading functional transformations and introduced innovative ways to develop career pipelines and develop talent as well as talent strategies that raised the bar of the global teams she worked with.

Beth has led a wide variety of large-scale organization transformation and HR strategy deployment initiatives across a variety of HR roles. She earned her BS from Carnegie Mellon University and her Master's degree in HR from the University of Illinois.


Tom McDonald has been the Bayer VP Team leader for WM/Sam's since June 2019. He is responsible for the business delivery at both customers and the development of the 30 plus team members. Tom moved to Bayer after leading the Category Management Association for 3 years. Prior to the CMA, Tom spent close to 30 years at P&G with the last 25 years calling on Walmart and Sam's.
